10th Annual One Wave Festival
September 16 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Pacific Peoples’ Partnership invites you to join in celebrating the 10th anniversary of One Wave Festival, a spectacular international Indigenous arts and cultural festival hosted on unceded Lekwungen territory.
One Wave Festival is Canada’s only celebration of coastal Indigenous, Melanesian, Polynesian and Micronesian culture and art. This Indigenous-led event brings together the broader Canadian community and international Indigenous peoples in a welcoming space for dialogue, appreciation and sharing. The two-day festival features international Indigenous song, dance, sport, food, cultural displays and interactive exhibits.
Linking people from across the North and South Pacific in celebration of diverse Pacific cultures, One Wave Festival aims to build community, joined in awareness and respect, embracing how we are all Pacific people. Our vision is of one wave – one movement standing together to protect the lands and waters where we live, in solidarity with all peoples of the Pacific.
